On Sunday, Jan 12, 2020, officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the 3600 block of Naaman’s Drive, in the community of Ashbourne Hills, for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a single-vehicle.
When officers arrived they found the 71-year-old driver of a 2002 Ford Ranger deceased. Investigators with the New Castle County Division of Police Traffic Services Unit believe that the driver suffered a medical emergency prior to striking the tree.
