Happening Now: Crews Responding To Apartment Fire, Reports Of People Trapped

Stanton – New Castle County Police along with firefighters from across New Castle County are responding to the Christiana Court Apartments on Newport Pike for a fire with entrapment.

Arriving crews are reporting smoke showing from the third floor.

Newport Pike is being shutdown.

Update: Command is clearing many of the crews that have responded to the fire.

Searches for occupants were negative. It sounds like everyone is out.

Command reporting fire under control. It was a fire in the kitchen.
