Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 10:02 p.m. in the 800 block of North Adams Street.

Police located a 46-year-old male gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries. Police also located a 22-year-old male gunshot victim who arrived at the hospital and is listed in critical condition.

This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.

Wilmington – Rescue crews from the Wilmington Fire Department along Wilmington Police and County Medics have responded to the 800 block of N Adams Street for a shooting.

Crews have alerted a local trauma center that they are en route with a trauma patient.
