Bennett’s Pier Beach – Earlier this evening rescue crews along with Delaware State Police Troopers and DNREC Police responded to Bennett’s Pier Beach south of Bowers Beach for reports of a shooting.
Details of the response are being withheld to allow authorities space to work the case. We can report that Troopers are working multiple scenes involving this incident, however, specific details will not be released at this time.
We can tell you that shortly after their arrival Troopers ordered Bennett’s Pier Road closed at Brokam Ridge Road.
