Newark – At around 8:00 this evening a reader reported that a train was blocking North College Avenue. The reader told First State Update that t6he train had been blocking the road for over an hour.
Newark Police tell First State Update that a disabled train is currently blocking the railroad crossings on North College Avenue, New London Road, and West Main Street and that CSX is working to remove the train. There is no time frame for removal of the train.
