Four Displaced After Early Morning House Fire In Clayton

Clayton – Just before 4;00 this morning firefighters from the Clayton Fire Company along with mutual aid from surrounding companies responded Nugent loop in the Town and Country development for a house fire.

Arriving crews reported fire showing upon arrival and began a search of the home. They later determined that all occupants were out of the home.

As crews worked to get a handle on the fire, they found that the fire had spread to the attic and a couple of rooms on the second floor.

Four residents, two teens and two adults, were displaced by the fire. Red Cross was called to assist the family.
