Police: Woman Possession With Intent To Deliver After Traffic Stop

Rehoboth Beach- The Delaware State Police arrested 34-year-old Monique Fulton of Windsor Mill, MD, on felony related drug charges as a result of a traffic stop on Coastal Highway on Friday night, according to Public Information Officer, Senior Corporal Heather Pepper.

Pepper said on June 12, 2020, at approximately 2327 hours, a Trooper on routine patrol on Coastal Highway (SR 1) northbound at Midway Outlet Drive observed a silver Hyundai Tucson fail to stop at a red light. A traffic stop was initiated, and contact was made with Fulton, who was the driver and a 34-year-old male passenger. Based on information obtained during the interaction with Fulton, a search was conducted of her person and vehicle. Inside Fulton’s car, approximately 33.3 grams of cocaine, a large quantity of small plastic Ziploc-style bags commonly used for packaging narcotics for distribution, and approximately 0.94 grams of ecstasy, said Pepper.

Fulton was taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop 7 where she was charged with the following crimes:

Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substance (felony)
Possession of Controlled Substance (felony)
Possession of Controlled Substance
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Driving without a Valid License
Failure to Stop at Red Light

She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court and was issued a $64,501.00 unsecured bond.
