Added Precautions For 10th Annual Wings Of Hope Butterfly Release

Rehoboth Beach- The Cancer Support Community Delaware (CSCDE) has announced the celebration of its 10th Annual Wings of Hope Celebration of Life! This very special event embodies Cancer Support Community Delaware’s mission of hope and support. Given a diagnosis of cancer, a person faces many struggles and emerges changed forever; just as a butterfly does. Each year, Wings of Hope: A Butterfly Release brings people together in a community-wide celebration that honors and remembers loved ones who have been affected by cancer. They have changed the location and the date this year. The new time on August 1st at 9:00am, release at 10:00am. To be held at Beebe’s Tunnell Cancer Center, 18947 John J. Williams Hwy, Rehoboth Beach, 19971.

CSCDE has made changes to their 10th Annual Wings of Hope Celebration of Life, due to social distancing protocols. In order to maintain the health and safety of their vulnerable community we are limiting admission to the intimate ceremony to only include those who purchased or are interested in purchasing a live butterfly, as well as their sponsors. The encourage all to please support the event and tune in day of to view the ceremony and release on Facebook Live or view on the CSCDE website Monday, August 3rd.

The event is currently scheduled to occur as described with adherence to the social distancing mandates.
