Earlier today, at approximately 06:40 P.M., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to Glasgow park for a report of a shooting that just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a large crowd in the area of the basketball courts. After the crowd dispersed, the officers were unable to locate a victim for this incident.
Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived at the scene and have assumed the investigation. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
