Police Identify Man Shot Dead In Wilmington Monday

Wilmington Police have identified the 27-year-old man gunned down Monday night as Damar Smith.

Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 8:47 p.m. in the area of Vandever and Locust Streets.

Police located a 27-year-old male gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
