Reports: Late Night Police Chase Ends With House Fire, Injuries

Frederica – Just after 10:30 last evening firefighters from the Frederica Volunteer Fire Company along with crews from the Felton Community Fire Company and Carlisle Fire Company responded to the 100 block of W Front Street for reports of a house fire.

Upon arrival, crews reported that the home was fully involved.

Early reports from the scene indicate that the home was struck by a vehicle involved in a police chase.

Reports from the scene also indicate that one occupant of the home was thrown from the home when the vehicle struck his recliner. That has not been confirmed by police.

We are waiting for official statements from several agencies involved in the investigation.
