Milton – Just before 5:20 Thursday evening rescue crews from the Milton Fire Department along with Sussex County Medics were dispatched to the 500 block of Union Street for a shooting.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that one person, believed to be a male, suffered serious wounds.
Shortly after the shooting, Milton Police alerted police agencies throughout the state and in neighboring states that they were searching for a suspect in the shooting.
