Wilmington- Delaware State Police are currently investigating a two-vehicle collision located at the intersection of the Route 141 Spur and West Park Drive in Wilmington.
The accident occurred this afternoon at approximately 4:31 p.m. and one vehicle involved is a Delaware State Police Vehicle. Route 141 roadway is currently closed between Faulk Road and Children Drive for the crash to be investigated. West Park Drive remains open.
Initial reports from the scene indicated that a Trooper and the driver of a second vehicle were both injured and transported to area hospitals. Officials confirmed that the occupants were transported to nearby hospitals for medical attention.
The reader that provided the image for this story reported that the trooper was working as part of Joe Biden’s motorcade detail. officials have not confirmed this to be the case at this early stage.
