Frontier Airlines Has Returned To Wilmington, Tickets Starting At $19

Low-fare carrier Frontier Airlines today begins service at New Castle Airport (ILG) with nonstop flights to Orlando International Airport (MCO). To celebrate this new service, Frontier is offering fares as low as $19, which are available now at FlyFrontier.com.

“We’re overjoyed to begin service at New Castle Airport with nonstop flights to Orlando and return commercial air service to Delaware,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines. “Air service is an economic driver for communities and Frontier is committed to providing ‘Low Fares Done Right’ to local flyers. We’re delighted to welcome
Wilmington area travelers onboard and look forward to continuing our incredibly valuable partnership with the Delaware River and Bay Authority.”

“Wilmington – New Castle Airport is recognized as a key economic engine for our region, and this new service will boost both business and tourism access to Delaware and the Tri-State
area,” said DRBA Executive Director Thomas J. Cook. “With the restart of Frontier’s flights today, the State of Delaware is no longer the only state in the union without regularly
scheduled commercial service.”

New Castle Airport offers passengers convenient parking while they are traveling. The airport has ample spaces and pricing is $5 per day after the first hour. Frontier is focused on more than low fares. The carrier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget. For example, customers can purchase options a la carte or in one low-priced bundle called the WORKS. This bundle includes refundability, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, the best available seat, waived change fees, and priority boarding.

The airline’s frequent flyer program, FRONTIER Miles, lets members enjoy many benefits as well as the ability to attain Elite status. Like the airline, FRONTIER Miles is family friendly, and the program makes it easy for families to enjoy the rewards together, including family pooling of miles. FRONTIER Miles is aptly named because you earn one mile for every mile flown – no funny formulas at Frontier. Whether customers travel a little or a lot, they will find FRONTIER Miles rewarding
