Delmar Police Corporal Keith Heacook will be honored today with a police escort to Shorts Funeral Home in Delmar, Delaware.
Heacock’s escort home will leave Baltimore’s R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at approximately 2 p.m.
The escort will turn on to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to I-395. It will then take I-95 to I-695 and head south on I-97 to Route 50.
Once over the Chesapeake Bay it will continue east on Route 404 through Denton, Md., where Caroline County officials will be lining the streets.
The escort will continue east on Route 404 into Bridgeville, DE, then take Route 13 south to Route 54. Once in Delmar the escort will head east to
S. Bi State Boulevard then south on E. Elizabeth Street and head west to Pennsylvania Avenue, and then north to E Grove Street.
