Delaware State Police are investigating a crash that left one seriously injured.
At around 7:00 Sunday evening rescue crews from the Odessa and Townsend Fire Companies, NCC Paramedics, Delaware State Police, and Trooper 4 responded to Route 1 SB in the area of New Discovery Road for a motor vehicle accident.
At least one patient was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The roadway was closed to allow Trooper 4 to land on the highway.
