Rehoboth Beach House Fire Causes $750K In Damage

Investigators are gathering details on a Rehoboth Beach house fire that severely damaged the home early Tuesday morning.

The blaze, reported to 911 at around 1:00 am, destroyed most of the two-story home located in the unit block of Corofin Lane in the Kinsale Glen development.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office responded to the scene shortly after. Assistant State Fire Marshal Michael Chionchio said no injuries were reported, however, the house sustained an estimated $750,000 in damages.

Chionchio went on to say the investigation, led by the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office, is currently assessing the scene and gathering evidence to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
