Officials Identify Man Who Died After Crash

Wilmington Police are currently conducting an investigation into a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on the 200 block of South Market Street at around 7:55 a.m. on February 13, 2024.

Upon arrival at the scene, authorities discovered the driver of the involved vehicle, a 63-year-old male. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later passed away due to his injuries.

The ongoing investigation is being carried out in collaboration with the Delaware Division of Forensic Sciences. Preliminary findings suggest that the driver, now identified as Charles Keenan, may have suffered a medical emergency while behind the wheel, leading to the accident and his subsequent death.
