Gunfire Erupts Wednesday Morning, At Least Two Hit

Just before 6:15 p.m., Wilmington Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 200 block of W 26th Street. Initial reports indicate that over a dozen shots may have been fired.

Upon arrival, officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Police personnel administered aid to the victims until rescue teams arrived at the scene. Both men, believed to be in their twenties, were transported to a local trauma center for treatment. One victim reportedly sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
