Officials are investigating a crash that sent a scooter rider to the hospital Thursday morning.
A scooter collided with a vehicle on Thursday morning at the intersection of South Lincoln Street and Sycamore Street in Wilmington at approximately 8:54 a.m.
The rider of the scooter was treated on the scene before being transported to Christiana Care in Wilmington. Initial reports indicate that the individual sustained injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
