Dover Police Investigating Royal Farms Robbery

The Dover Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery that took place at a Royal Farms convenience store early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 3:50 a.m. on January 22, 2025, at the Royal Farms located at 293 Saulsbury Road.

According to authorities, officers responded to the store after receiving a report of a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, they spoke with an employee who stated that a male suspect had entered the store wearing a mask, claimed to be armed with a gun, and demanded money. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black mask, black jacket, black pants, brown boots, and gloves. No additional leads have been reported at this time.

The Dover Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding this incident to contact them.
