WILMINGTON, Del. — Wilmington Police are actively investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday afternoon in the 800 block of Spruce Street.
At approximately 2:14 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire and located two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. A 21-year-old male, who was reportedly shot in the back, and a 37-year-old female were both transported to the hospital. Authorities have confirmed that both victims are currently listed in stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify any suspects involved.
