Teen Critically Wounded Over The Weekend

Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that left a 17-year-old male critically injured early Saturday morning.

At approximately 2:08 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 400 block of North Franklin Street. Upon arrival, police discovered a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing, and police have not released additional details regarding the circumstances of the shooting or any potential suspects.
