Four Shot At Dover Residence

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left four people injured Monday evening in the 100 block of Mifflin Road.

Authorities reported that officers were dispatched at approximately 7:54 p.m. after receiving a call for a shooting in the area. Upon arrival, officers located four victims, an 18-year-old male, a 23-year-old male, a 21-year-old male, and another 18-year-old male, all residents of Dover.

Investigators determined that the victims had been gathered at a residence on Mifflin Road when an unknown vehicle drove by and the suspect or suspects fired several shots, striking the victims, police said.

All four individuals were transported to Bayhealth Kent Campus for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries was not disclosed.

The Dover Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
