Woman’s Car Stolen From N. Chapel Street In Newark

Newark – Newark Police are investigating a vehicle theft that occurred in the unit block of N. Chapel Street on August 16, 2017 between 2 – 8 pm, according to Lieutenant Fred Nelson.

Nelson said

The victim, a 21-year-old female from Englishtown, NJ, reported that she parked her vehicle at a friend’s residence and when she returned for the vehicle, a navy blue 2007 Lexus ES300, it was gone.
The victim stated the vehicle was left unlocked and the keys were left in the center console.
