New Castle – At approximately 7:30 this morning rescues crews from the Good Will Fire Company responded to River Road (Route 9 ) and Carroll Drive for reports of an accident involving injuries.’
Reports from the scene indicate that one person was seriously injured and transported to the hospital. Witnesses at the scene indicated that a vehicle slammed into the back of another vehicle, pushing it into oncoming traffic.
