Happening Now: Pedestrian Struck In Newark. One To Hospital

Newark –  Rescue crews from Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder, along with the Newark Police have responded to Wyoming Road in the area of the Pomeroy Trail for reports of a pedestrian struck.

Arriving units have found one patient injured. That patient has been transported to Christiana Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) was alerted but was not utilized.
