Rollover Crash On Route 40 Sends Two To Hospital

Bear – At approximately 0215 hours New Castle County Paramedics and Christiana Fire Company were dispatched to the 700 block of Pulaski Highway for a motor vehicle crash with entrapment, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Russell sasi upon arrival New Castle County Paramedics found two patients, already removed from the overturned vehicle. The first patient, 46-year-old female, suffered injuries to her chest and hand. The second patient, 48-year-old male, suffered injuries to his head and hand. Both patients were transported to Christiana Hospital via separate ambulances from Christiana Fire Company. Both patients were accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. Both patients were in stable condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
