The Tahoe continued traveling in a northwest direction, across all lanes of I-95 before colliding with a concrete barrier, where it came to rest. The Cobalt and the Mazda came to rest in the I-95 northbound left two lanes.

The driver of the Tahoe who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to the Christiana Hospital in serious condition. The driver of the Cobalt, who was properly restrained, was transported to the Christiana Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Mazda, who was also properly restrained, was uninjured.
