Amtrak, SEPTA Service Interrupted Due To Derailment

An overnight train derailment in in Delaware County has caused Amtrak to suspended service on the Northeast Corridor between Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

In addition to the Amtrak suspensions, SEPTA has suspended service the Wilmington/Newark Regional Rail Line. In response SEPTA has added extra service to its Media/Elwyn Line.

No injuries were reported.
