On Thursday, September 29, 2016 at approximately 11:45 a.m., officers responded to the area of the 500 block of New Street, Middletown in 
reference to a shooting, according to Middletown Police Spokesman Captain Michael J. Iglio.
Iglio said that one adult black male suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The victim is currently in stable condition.
