Wilmington TD Bank Robbed

Brandywine Hundred Delaware State Police are currently investigating the robbery of a Wilmington area TD Bank branch which occurred last night.

The initial investigation has determined that the incident happened at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016, as a male suspect entered the TD Bank, located at 1803 Marsh Road, Wilmington.

Troopers said that the suspect approached a female teller and presented her with a demand note for cash. The note implied that the suspect was armed, however, a weapon was not displayed.

The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to him, according to authorities. The man then exited the bank and was last seen fleeing the parking lot in an unknown make and model passenger vehicle. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as a white male. He was 5’08”-6’00” tall, weighed 180-220 lbs., and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and had a mask covering his face. There is no further physical or clothing description available. No video surveillance photos are available to be released at this time.
