Newark – HealthierUS School Challenge awarded Wilson Elementary School with a Silver Smarter Lunchroom Award
The HealthierUS School Challenge: Smarter Lunchroom has announced that Wilson Elementary School is one of 120 award winners from 12 states to receive its Smarter Lunchroom Award. Wilson received a Silver Award, which will be valid through 2020.
Since the beginning of the HealthierUS School Challenge in 2004, awards have been given to schools in 50 States and the District of Columbia. As of November 23, 2016, there are 4,329 schools certified. Congratulations to Wilson Elementary School for promoting healthy eating for its students.
