Dover Police Investigating Two Shootings, One Person Struck

Dover Police are investigating two shooting-related incidents that occurred in the 400 Block of Barrister Place, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 at approximately 2:30 AM, an unknown suspect(s) fired multiple shots in the area. Several hours later, a resident discovered that a bullet had struck a window and entered the first floor of the home and notified police.

The second incident occurred on Sunday, May 19th, 2019 at approximately 2:49 AM, when a 27-year-old male victim hears several gunshots coming from the area of the intersection of Barrister Place and S. Little Creek Road. The victim ran but was struck once in the right leg. The victim was driven to a local hospital by a known acquaintance and was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Two vehicles were also struck in the 400 Block of Barrister Place as a result of this incident.
