At 11:25 Saturday evening rescue crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder along with New Castle County Paramedics responded to Route 896 and Old Baltimore Pike for reports of an injury accident involving four vehicles.
Paramedics and units from the Christiana Fire Company were recalled after crews reported that they only had one patient.
One patient was treated at the scene and transported to Christiana Hospital.
Two others were evaluated at the scene.
