Milford, DE — Authorities have closed Route 1 northbound between Milford and Frederica following a serious crash that occurred in the area of 3235 Bay Road. Initial reports indicate that a vehicle involved in the crash was split in half due to the impact.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported where they found one patient is reported to be in critical condition. The patient is expected to be flown to Christiana Hospital by Delaware Police Aviation.
