Newark police are reportedly investigating a stabbing reported just after midnight Saturday near Grottos Pizza on Main Street, according to initial information from the scene.
Emergency crews were dispatched at about 12:04 a.m. to the area, where early reports indicated a rideshare driver had been stabbed multiple times. The victim was transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital.
The driver’s condition had not been released as of Saturday morning. Additional details surrounding the stabbing, including whether a suspect has been identified or taken into custody, were not immediately available.
