23-Year-Old-Man Shot Dead In Wilmington

Wilmington – On Wednesday May 10, 2017 at 8:36 p.m., Wilmington Police Officer’s responded to the 500 block of W. 25th Street in reference to a Shot Spotter Notification of gunfire. Arriving officers located a 23-year-old male victim down in the block, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his head. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene by medical personnel.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remain active and ongoing at this hour.
