Crash Closes Cleveland Avenue In Newark

Newark – Cleveland Avenue at New London Road (Route 896) was closed for about 15 minutes this afternoon due to a two vehicle crash.

Fire crews along with Newark Police quickly moved the damaged vehicles into a nearby church parking lot

On patient was transported to the hospital while the other driver refused medical attention.

Cleveland Avenue is back open.
