Minquadale – A New Castle County police officer was injured in a crash along Route 13 in Minquadale, New Castle County. The officer, who on his way back to police headquarters with a prisoner, was forced off the road into a guard rail by a dump truck.
Reports from the scene indicate that the prisoner was injured as well. Conditions of the officer and prisoner are not now at this time.
