Dover – Dover Police said that they are investigating the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man that occurred around 9:30 on Thursday night. Police responded to a home in the 100 Block of S. Queen Street for a report of a subject shot.
When officers arrived, Emmitt Brown, was found with a gunshot wound to his torso. Officers immediately provided first aid until Brown was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
