More Tires Slashed In Newark, This Time Near West Park Elementary

Newark – Newark Police Department is investigating a criminal mischief complaint that occurred between May 7, 2017 at 8:45p.m. and may 8, 2017 at 5:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Lehigh Road, according to Newark Police Spokesman Fred Nelson.

Nelson said the victim, a 43-year-old male who is not a City of Newark resident, reported that an unknown suspect slashed all four of his vehicle tires while his vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Studio Green Apartments.

The vehicle, a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, had damage estimated at $400.00. No other vehicles in the area were found to have been damaged.
