Numerous Firearms Stolen From Bombay Hook In Smyrna

Smyrna – The Delaware State Police are investigating a burglary which occurred at a wildlife refuge and are seeking information from the public, according to State Police.

Troopers said the investigation began on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 after unknown suspects entered a window of the office building located on the grounds of the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, located at 2591 Whitehall Neck Road.

The suspects then proceeded to remove three gun storage safes containing numerous weapons, according to Troopers. They then fled from the area undetected.
