Newark Police Say This Woman Stole A Debit Card On Main Street, Know Her?

Newark – The Newark Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a theft suspect. On Sunday March 4, 2018 the Newark Police began an investigation of an incident which occurred at the Starbucks on East Main Street. Officers contacted a 34-year-old female who had been in the establishment between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

At some point during that time frame, an unknown suspect removed the victim’s debit cards from her purse, according to police.

Officials said the debit cards were then used at a business on East Main Street and also a business on Kirkwood Highway, totaling over $2,300. Officers were able to obtain surveillance images of the suspect, who is described as a white female, late 20’s to early 30’s with an average build, according to police.
