Wilmington Police Release Details In Man Found Shot In Front Of The Woodlawn Branch Library Incident

Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that took place this evening in the 800 block of Grant Avenue at approximately 7:27, according to police.

Officials said a 21-year-old Newark man was transported to the hospital and was listed in critical condition.

 

Wilmington – Wilmington Police Officers and rescue crews have responded to the Woodlawn Branch Library at 2020 W 9th Street for reports a shooting.

The victim is believed to have been found in a vehicle in front of the Library.

Medics are currently rushing the patient to the Trauma Center at an area hospital.
