Newark – Firefighters from across New Castle County are responding to 1212 N Barrett Run Drive, the Retreat at the Village of Barrett’s Run Apartments, for reports of an apartment fire.
First arriving crews reporting heavy fire showing from the third floor.
Command has struck a second alarm.
The primary search is negative.
Update: 7:20 Urgent Alert: Command has ordered a complete evacuation of the building. All firefighter ordered out of the building.
Update: 7:22 Command has struck a third alarm.
