Man Indicted For Fatal Shooting Behind Newark BJs In 2009

Authorities have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old man in 2009.

Officials tell FSU that Ricardo J. Vega, now 31, was indicted on April 24, for the shooting death of Justin Trnka.

On Tuesday, March 17, 2009, Trnka was found dead inside his vehicle behind the BJ’s Store, located at 100 Pencader Plaza in Newark, Delaware. He had been shot.

Sources familiar with the arrest tell FSU that Vega was taken into custody by a tactical team early Wednesday morning, April 26, in the Rehoboth Shores Mobile Home Park in Millsboro.
