Rider Seriously Injured In Minquadale Motorcycle Crash

At 1:18 p.m. on May 1, 2023, emergency services were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision at North DuPont Highway and Wildel Avenue in Minquadale, Delaware, involving a motorcycle and a pick-up truck.

When units arrived on the scene, they identified the motorcycle rider as a 31-year-old with serious injuries, including extremity and internal. The two occupants in the pick-up truck were uninjured in the crash.

The motorcycle rider was treated on scene by paramedics and then transported to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in serious condition via the Minquadale Fire Company ambulance.

Senior Sergeant Abigail E. Haas said The responding agencies were New Castle County Paramedics, Minquadale Fire Company, and the Delaware State Police.
