Multiple People Transported After Milltown Shooting

Just after 10:20 Friday evening, a chaotic scene unfolded at the Cynwyd Club Apartments in the 1300 block of Cynwyd Club Drive in Milltown. Rescue crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics and New Castle County Police, were dispatched following reports of a shooting. The situation quickly escalated as more victims were discovered, necessitating additional medical attention.

As rescue crews rushed to the scene, they received updates indicating that at least one person had been shot in the torso. The severity of the injuries was not immediately known. Initial reports from the scene revealed that a woman had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency personnel transported her to the trauma center for medical care. However, the current condition of the woman remains unknown at this time.

While on scene, first responders requested an additional ambulance to accommodate a second patient. Initial reports from the scene indicate that a male in his 40s was also injured at the scene.
