On Sunday morning, August 20, 2023, at approximately 2:01 AM, a shooting incident occurred in the 2400 block of Bear Corbitt Road.
This incident involved one person who was found shot multiple times inside a car at that location. Early reports indicated that another individual may have also been shot at the same location.
Responding to this incident were multiple emergency response units, including Delaware State Police, New Castle County Paramedics, and Delaware City Fire Company.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting, as well as the condition of the individuals involved, were not immediately available at the time of this report.
